Latin America faces disruption on a scale not seen in three decades that’s certain to stoke more commercial and investment disputes in the region, according to the Americas arbitration team at White & Case.

The global pandemic has had a disproportionate impact on Latin America, which as a whole in 2020 experienced a 7% contraction in gross domestic product compared with an average global decline of 3%.
