A developer and a condominium association’s dispute over who should be responsible for laundry room fees has made its way to the Third District Court of Appeal, which issued a ruling emphasizing the importance of having clear language in a contract.

In this case, unambiguous language swung in the developer’s favor, as the contract said the developer had the right to reject amendments that it considered harmful to the future sale of its units.
