A Connecticut attorney who accused Superior Court Judge John M. Newson of denying his daughter the right to speak during a hearing has been disciplined for making statements that “demeaned and minimized” the judge’s qualifications and integrity.

New Britain attorney Christopher D. Parker was reprimanded following a complaint about the judge he filed with the Judicial Review Council, according to a recent Statewide Grievance Committee decision.
