Superior Court Judge Alice A. Bruno is scheduled for a show-cause hearing before the Connecticut Supreme Court at 10 a.m. Tuesday for potential violations of the Code of Judicial Conduct.

Bruno claims she was subjected to “criticism and hyper-scrutiny” in her role as a judge in the Judicial District of Waterbury’s family law docket, causing stress that exacerbated an undisclosed medical condition. She had requested an accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
