Dental-equipment giant Dentsply Sirona has named a new general counsel, a move that follows a tumultuous 2022 marked by the company’s acknowledgement that it had overstated its earnings.

The Charlotte, North Carolina-based company recently disclosed that it has hired Richard Rosenzweig as general counsel. He comes to Dentsply from the medical device company AngioDynamics, where he was general counsel. Rosenzweig’s decades in health care included a stint as Johnson & Johnson’s director of worldwide licensing and acquisitions.
