Telehealth startup Ro has hired former deputy general counsel at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Gia Lee to lead its legal department.

Lee’s move follows a three-year run as general counsel at health care company Clover Health Investments, where she still serves as an adviser, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing in January disclosing her departure from Clover.
