TiVo Corp. parent company Xperi Holding Corp.’s former legal chief has officially transitioned to the CEO seat at the Silicon Valley-based entertainment tech firm’s standalone intellectual property business, Adeia, following a spinoff. 

Paul Davis played a key role in Adeia’s separation from Xperi, a maneuver that took more than two years, and stepped up to serve as Adeia’s interim CEO in February while continuing to lead Xperi’s legal department.
