A security breach at New Jersey-based law firm McCarter & English, which left attorneys without access to email and remote work systems last week, has been confirmed by firm leaders in a firmwide memo.

“It goes without saying we had a computer security incident,” firm chairman Joseph Lubertazzi Jr. said in a Sunday evening email, which has been reviewed by Law.com.
