In 2019, McDermott Will & Emery posted record profits, had its second consecutive year of double-digit growth in revenue and credited its practices around employment, health care and corporate work for the ascent. Even with a global pandemic, 2020 was even better for the firm.

The firm pushed its revenue from roughly $1.17 billion in 2019 to almost $1.4 billion in 2020, a 17.9% increase.
