The U.S. Virgin Islands’ highest court has alerted bar disciplinary authorities about the conduct of several Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld antitrust lawyers after finding they practiced in the territory’s courts without proper authorization.

The firm, however, said it did not intentionally violate any local rules and followed the standard process for practicing in courts outside of their lawyers’ home jurisdiction.
