As a result of the U.S. Supreme Court’s June 29 ruling invalidating affirmative action efforts in higher education, many law schools are no longer accepting “diversity statements” from prospective law students—and some schools are reticent to discuss these policy changes.

The Yale Daily News reported last week that the diversity statement is no longer listed as an application component on the law school’s website for the 2023-24 law school admissions cycle.
