Frode Jensen, the former Pillsbury Winthrop partner who was the subject of a controversial press release last month, has filed a $45 million defamation suit against the firm. The complaint, filed Tuesday in Connecticut Superior Court, accuses Pillsbury Winthrop and three of its top partners of engaging in character and commercial assassination. Pillsbury Chairwoman Mary Cranston, who is named in the suit, has said that press release was meant to "correct the record."
