California state regulators voted late Thursday to loosen some COVID-19 workplace restrictions, even as business groups complained the changes do not go far enough.

The state Occupational Safety & Health Standards Board endorsed language that will require employers to offer respirator masks to unvaccinated workers. All employees will still have to wear face coverings, although vaccinated workers can ditch their masks in closed meetings with others who have received their injections.
