A number of the claims brought by a couple in a proposed class-action suit against a spray-foam insulation manufacturer and installer have survived a motion to dismiss in Philadelphia's federal court.

U.S. District Senior Judge Jan DuBois of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania let stand the claims for negligence, breach of implied warranties, unjust enrichment, and violation of the Pennsylvania Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law. The suit, brought by a couple who had spray polyurethane foam (SPF) insulation put in their home in May 2012, is one of eight similar cases filed across the country.
