A Monroe County couple has sued Scranton attorney James Conaboy and his law firm Abrahamsen, Conaboy & Abrahamsen, alleging that he lied about the steps he took after filing a medical malpractice suit on their behalf and forged the signatures of a judge and a court administrator in the process.

Plaintiffs Teresa and John Matheson launched the suit in January in the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas after previously filing a complaint against Conaboy to Pennsylvania Bar disciplinary authorities.
