A Lackawanna County Court of Common Pleas judge ruled that a Connecticut-based auto dealership can be sued in Pennsylvania because its website specifically targets consumers from the Keystone State and actively pursued their business.

The civil action in D&S Auto Sales v. Commercial Sales & Marketing arose from the plaintiff’s purchase of a Ford F-550 Self Loader Truck from CMS Truck Sales and the alleged faulty service and repair of the truck at Valenti’s dealership in Connecticut.
