Bracewell beefed up its intellectual property team by adding Christopher “Kit”  Crumbley, who was a lead administrative judge at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office’s Patent Trial & Appeal Board and a former U.S. Department of Justice trial attorney.

Crumbley, who joined the firm as a partner in Austin on Monday, said he will focus his practice on advising clients about matters before the PTAB and training the next generation of patent practitioners at the firm.
