A county judge may be able to keep two jobs without necessarily compromising himself on the bench, but an ex parte communication is still a no-no, a Special Court of Review ruled.

Brown County Judge Paul Lilly was disciplined with a private warning Thursday for an ex parte communication by the court of review, but he was exonerated upon his appeal of other violations the State Commission on Judicial Conduct had found against him.
