Eight months after the petition was filed, legal bills in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy matter of defunct foreclosure firm Zucker Goldberg & Ackerman are beginning to come due, but there remains much work to be done.

Most recently, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Christine Gravelle of the District of New Jersey at an April 1 hearing granted the first fee application by Brown Moskowitz & Kallen in Summit, which represents Zucker Goldberg in adversary proceedings and sought $94,730 in fees and $1,222 in expenses for work done from last August through January, according to court documents.
