Roper Technologies subsidiary Neptune Technology Group Inc. and New Jersey American Water Co. were slapped with a product liability lawsuit on April 18 in New Jersey Superior Court for Union County. The court action was filed by the Law Offices of Jan Meyer & Associates on behalf of Allstate New Jersey Insurance Co. The suit alleges that a defective water meter placed into commerce by the defendants caused a home insured by Allstate to flood. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is UNNL001246-23, Allstate New Jersey Ins Co Vs Neptune Technology.
