A $2 million settlement was reached in Middlesex Couhty suit Teaha Whitaker v. Advanced Site Contractors on Sept. 9 for a woman who was hit by a dump truck when she stopped her car at a train crossing.

On June 28, 2018, Teaha Whitaker was driving on Port Street in Newark. While stopped at a train crossing, Whitaker was hit by a dump truck owned by Advanced Site Contractors. The truck was operated by Advanced employee Anthony Calabro, according to Whitaker’s lawyer, Nicholas J. Leonardis of Stathis & Leonardis in Edison.
