After deliberating for less than four hours, a federal jury on Wednesday evening declared that Ronell Wilson should be put to death by lethal injection for the murder of two undercover detectives on Staten Island 10 years ago.

It was the second time that Wilson, 31, had heard the ultimate penalty pronounced against him in the Eastern District courtroom of Judge Nicholas Garaufis.
