Prince Lobel Tye is suing New York cannabis regulators, saying would-be dispensary operators are expected to target locations away from emerging licensees, without being told in a timely manner where that competitor will be sited.

The complaint—the latest in a string of lawsuits targeting regulations—was filed in state court in Albany County on Friday. It states that as of the most recent application window, which closed in December, there was no way for an applicant to know of his competitor’s locale.
