FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Thursday, with U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan of the Southern District of New York highlighting the scale of his fraud offenses and the lack of truthfulness in his testimony at his November trial before he imposed the sentence.

Bankman-Fried, 32, was also ordered to forfeit more than $11 billion. His attorneys at Mukasey Young, led by Marc Mukasey, have said he will appeal.
