This appeal involved CPLR 214-g, one of the civil components of the Child Victims Act (CVA). Plaintiff model alleged causes of action against defendant Wilhelmina Modeling arising from conduct of photographers at photo shoots that occurred when she was 17 years old.
Plaintiff also alleged causes of action against Cal Tan, which sells suntanning products and hired her the plaintiff as a model for a print marketing campaign, arising from conduct of the photography crew at a photo shoot in Mexico that occurred when she was 16 years old.
