U.S. District Judge Sidney Stein of the Southern District of New York on Monday ordered that the bribery trial of U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey, and his wife and other co-defendants will take place in May 2024.

Stein appeared eager to move ahead with the case despite concerns from some attorneys about the quick pace.
