A New York bill that would require out-of-state companies with a presence in the Empire State to consent to general personal jurisdiction on matters that arise outside of the state’s borders continues to generate pushback from segments of the business community.

A recent opposition letter from 28 organizations representing all portions of the economy asks Gov. Kathy Hochul to veto S7476/A7351.
