Pointing to artificial intelligence’s potential to both aid and hinder lawyers’ work, the New York State Bar Association has launched a task force that aims to examine AI and make recommendations for regulating the technology.

Vivian Wesson, executive vice president and general counsel at The Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church, will chair the task force. The bar association did not list other members of the task force or give a number of members for the group.
