After nearly three hours of oral argument Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein of the Southern District of New York signaled he is likely to grant the Manhattan District Attorney’s motion to remand its criminal case against former President Donald Trump to state court.

Hellerstein described his “present attitudes as to my rulings” from the bench, though he emphasized that his final and binding rulings will be delivered in a written opinion in the coming weeks.
