Under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, a “John Doe” lawsuit filed Thursday on behalf of five former male students of a private prep school upstate alleges a female teacher plied them with alcohol and sexually assaulted them when they were too intoxicated to consent.

The complaint was filed in a state trial court in Rensselaer County by the Law Firm of Andrew M. Stengel of Manhattan against the Hoosac School, its board and the alleged assailant, former teacher Kristie Muller, who now resides in Virginia.
