In an award ceremony to be held tonight, Acting Presiding Justice Dianne Renwick of the Appellate Division, First Department will present four employees of the First Judicial Department the 2023 Bernard Botein Award for outstanding contributions to the administration of justice. The ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. at the New York City Bar Association.
The award recipients are: Laura Anne Adams, court attorney—referee, Surrogates Court, Bronx County; Lamar DeCasseres, case management coordinator, Bronx Supreme Court, Criminal Term; Eric Ho, senior technical manager, Appellate Division, First Department; Captain Christopher Mazzella, Supreme Court, New York County, Civil Term
