A lawsuit in Manhattan federal court accuses Yeshiva University and its attorneys of overseeing a “sham” investigation into a rape charge levied against a member of the school’s men’s basketball team last year.

The lawsuit, filed this week, centers on a number of legal questions, and takes a deep dive into whether the university was exempt from investigating the allegation as a Title IX matter.
