Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis partner Barry S. Alexander has entered an appearance for Southwest Airlines in a pending disability discrimination lawsuit.

The case, was filed Jan. 18 in New York Eastern District Court by attorney Kristina S. Heuser on behalf of Medora Clai Reading, who alleges that she suffers from a medical condition that requires her to drink water frequently. She says that she was booted from a January 2021 flight set to take off for Palm Beach, Florida after she pulled her facemask below her chin and took a sip of water.
