Baker & Hostetler: Gordon Litt joins the firm’s tax group as partner in the Columbus office and will focus on private wealth matters. Previously, Litt was a partner at Bricker & Eckler.

Cozen O’Connor (Philadelphia): William Walsh joins the firm’s litigation practice as partner in the Seattle office and will focus on civil litigation. Previously, Walsh was a partner at Corr Cronin Michelson Baumgardner & Preece.

Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith (Los Angeles): Jonathan Pink joins the firm as partner in the Los Angeles office and will focus on intellectual property and commercial litigation in arts and entertainment matters. Previously, Pink was a partner at Bryan Cave.

Manatt, Phelps & Phillips (Los Angeles): Mandana Massoumi joins the firm’s labor and employment practice as partner in the Costa Mesa, Calif., office and will focus on litigation. Previously, Massoumi was a partner at Dorsey & Whitney. Additionally, Thomas Poletti joins the capital-markets practice as a partner in Costa Mesa and will focus on corporate and securities matters. Previously, Poletti was a partner at K&L Gates.

McGuireWoods: Barry Biggar joins the firm’s debt finance department as partner in the New York office and will focus on aircraft finance. Previously, Biggar was a partner at King & Spalding.

Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton (Los Angeles): Scott Morehouse joins the firm’s real estate, land use and environmental practice as partner in the Costa Mesa, Calif., office and will focus on real estate finance matters. Previ­ously, Morehouse was a partner at Greenberg Traurig.

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett (New York): Breen Haire joins the firm’s corporate practice as partner in the Houston office and will focus on mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Haire was a partner at Baker Botts.

Vedder Price (Chicago): Jason Schmitz joins the firm’s intellectual property group as partner in the Chicago office and will focus transactions and litigation. Previously, Schmitz was a partner at Baker & McKenzie.

Cohen & Gresser (New York): Angéline Duffour joins the firm’s employment litigation and counseling and corporate practices as partner in the Paris office and will focus on all aspects of employment and labor law. Previously, Duffour was of counsel to Dentons.

Fox Rothschild (Philadelphia): James Garraux joins the firm as counsel to the Pittsburgh office and will focus on labor and employment law. Previously, Garraux was general counsel at United States Steel Corp.

K&L Gates: Frank Voon joins the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice as partner in the Beijing office and will focus on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and joint ventures. Previously, Voon was counsel to Allen & Overy.

O’Melveny & Myers: Danielle Gray rejoins the financial-services ­practice as partner and will practice in the New York and Washington offices. She will focus on enforcement, regulatory and compliance matters. Previously, Gray was cabinet secretary to President Obama.

Reed Smith: Joseph Lincoln joins the financial industry group as counsel to the Philadelphia office and will focus on U.S. and global financial transactions. Previously, Lincoln was senior counsel at GE Capital.

Sidley Austin: Chris Barbuto joins the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice as partner in the New York office. Previously, Barbuto was executive counsel at General Electric Co.

Troutman Sanders (Atlanta): John Hamilton joins the firm’s corporate practice as partner in Irvine, Calif., office and will focus on transactions. Previously, Hamilton was founder of Bracke Manufacturing, an electronic component manufacturing company.
