The newly created IP super-boutique Novak Druce Connolly Bove + Quigg has opened a Boston office with the addition of Rissman Hendricks & Oliverio’s seven lawyers.
Joining Novak Druce are partners Lawrence Oliverio, Therese Hendricks, John Rissman and Jay Stelacone. Three attorneys join as counsel. The attorneys were hired on December 31.
Novak Druce, with about 140 lawyers, was created on January 1 from the merger of Wilmington, Del.-based Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz and at Houston-based Novak Druce + Quigg.
The firm’s other offices are in Cupertino, Calif.; Los Angeles; San Francisco; Washington; and West Palm Beach, Fla. The firm is based in Houston.
“It is a nice bookend of sorts to have ended the year with Novak Druce picking up these highly experienced attorneys in Boston,” Gregory Novak, the firm’s managing partner and chief executive, said in a press release.
