A federal judge Thursday sent a disciplinary proceeding against one of former President Donald Trump’s top lawyers back to D.C. Superior Court.

Jeffrey Clark was acting assistant U.S. attorney general for the Civil Division under Trump when he sent a “Proof of Concept letter” that, according to the D.C. Bar Office of Disciplinary Counsel, attempted to interfere with the outcome of 2020 election, which had recently occurred.
