The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected Sen. Lindsey Graham’s request to block his testimony before a Georgia special grand jury investigating possible attempts to disrupt the 2020 elections in that state.

The court, in an unsigned order, said a stay or injunction was not necessary to safeguard the South Carolina Republican’s immunity under the Constitution’s speech and debate clause.
