Mark Aronchick is no stranger to representing Pennsylvania officials in federal court. But he wasn’t expecting Rudy Giuliani to be in the picture, never mind argue against him.

That was the scenario Aronchick faced in November, as he represented public officials in the Trump campaign’s ill-fated lawsuit to block the certification of the Pennsylvania vote. The Philadelphia-based attorney found himself arguing against Giuliani as the president’s attorney made his first appearance in federal court in decades.
