U.S. health official Rick Bright has turned to Christine Blasey Ford’s lead attorney in the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation fight, Debra Katz, in a whistleblower complaint alleging Bright was removed from his position for resisting the use of unproven malaria drugs to combat the spread of COVID-19.
The 89-page complaint, filed Tuesday with the U.S. Office of Special Counsel, details Bright’s claims of malfeasance predating the emergence of the coronavirus, including accusations that a lobbyist recently hired by Blank Rome aimed to steer contracts to associates of Jared Kushner.
