Our friends at The American Lawyer reported this week on an interesting new study aiming to identify the business development traits most associated with rainmaking in professional services firms. 

The good news first: The folks at cloud-based software company Intapp and their research partners at DCM Insights who authored ”The Rainmaker Genome Project” research report think they have identified five different business development profiles that are pretty equally represented across the 1,769 partners surveyed at professional services firms.
