UBIC Inc. announced on April 11 the e-discovery company’s Lit i View Big Data Case Management Service. The new litigation service aims to provide clients with the ability to manage multiple databases associated with past cases and process 200 terabytes of data per application, which is about four times greater than the capacity of Lit i View software installed locally.
The litigation support and big data analytics company said its Big Data Case Management Service will reduce e-discovery costs, which can sometimes range to more than $300,000 each year for managing about a terabyte of data. It also said that the new product will help scale back the redundancy of reviewing and translating e-documents that were used in past cases.
