Some law firm and in-house attorneys don’t necessarily care if their outside consultants are making a commission off a piece of legal tech they’ve recommended—but should they? The answer is more nuanced than a simple “yes” or “no,” thanks in part to how popular that consulting model has become throughout the industry.

There’s also the issue of ensuring that a client is being shown the best product at the most competitive price point.
