The first major legal tech conference with an in-person component since the pandemic began attracted many attendees comfortable meeting people face-to-face again. But it was still far cry from the hustle and bustle of pre-pandemic events, and traffic at the conference’s vendor hall was markedly down compared to years past.

For many, however, this was no surprise—there was an expectation that traffic would be light. “We knew the score,” said Leland Smith, technical relationship manager at Conversant Group, who is also an ILTACON committee member.
