Defendant not to blame for collision while parking

On May 30, a jury declined to award damages to a driver who claimed she was injured as she parked her car. Lagracia Jones was parking a large sedan by the curb in front of her apartment complex in Dallas just as Karamo Koroma was doing the same. Jones claimed that she had finished parking and that Koroma backed into her car. Koroma contended that Jones rear-ended him, after he had finished parking. The jury found no negligence by Koroma. The damages question was conditioned and not reached.
