The State Bar of Texas announced that a lawyer from Dallas County has been disbarred and another lawyer has received a public reprimand. The judgment orders the disbarred lawyer to pay $3,996.25 in attorneys' fees and $545.97 in direct expenses to the State Bar. One of the violations cited in the reprimanded lawyer's case involves practicing law in a jurisdiction where doing so violates the regulation of the legal profession in that jurisdiction.
