Pennsylvania law firms were closely aligned with their national counterparts when it came to 2011 financial performance, with the exception of a few key indicators, according to data broken out from Citi Private Bank Law Firm Group’s 2011 flash report.

Perhaps the most notable difference between firms in the state and those across the country was when it came to profits per equity partner (PPP). That figure increased by 3.3 percent year over year for firms nationally, but only 0.1 percent on average for the nine Pennsylvania firms that participated in Citi Bank’s flash survey.
