Bala Cynwyd, Pa.-based law firm Seitzinger & Randazzo has challenged as unconstitutional provisions of the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act limiting attorney fees, but a Commonwealth Court panel said the legislature has the power to impose a ceiling on fees in certain situations.

West Chester, Pa.-based solo attorney Samuel C. Stretton, who represented the firm, said the court took a “bad step” in allowing the General Assembly to regulate attorney fees.
