As the Marcellus Shale proves to be as rich a source of legal work as it is of natural gas, Pittsburgh-based Cohen & Grigsby has bulked up its litigation, construction, environmental, real estate and appellate litigation groups with two attorneys who focus their practices primarily on land use, energy and governmental law.

The firm announced Monday that it has added Clifford B. Levine, a former partner at Thorp Reed & Armstrong in Pittsburgh, and Alice B. Mitinger, a former senior counsel at Thorp Reed, as directors.
