Partners at Mayer Brown, one of the ten biggest U.S. law firms, will vote this week on a new governance structure that would create a new smaller management committee at the firm, a separate larger board, and re-establish a managing partner post. The firm said earlier this month that partners will also vote on electing partner Bert Krueger as chairman after he was nominated last month for the post.
