With a Democrat back in the Oval Office for the first time in eight years, Miami attorney Lisa Lehner hoped the board in charge of recommending federal judges and U.S. Attorneys would include more women this time around.

U.S. District Judge Daniel T.K. Hurley in West Palm Beach announced last week he was going to senior status, so Lehner called the office of U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla., to lobby for the addition of more women professionals to the panel vetting candidates.
